Jean-Thenistor Pascal is a Haitian Canadian professional boxer. He has held the WBA (Regular) light-heavyweight title since October 2019, previously holding the WBC, IBO, The Ring and lineal light-heavyweight titles between 2009 and 2011, and once challenging for the WBC super-middleweight title in 2008. His first trainer was Sylvain Gagnon, who considered Pascal to be very talented. According to an interview from May 2005, Pascal's idol was Roy Jones Jr...He represented Canada as a middleweight at the 2004 Olympics in Athens and won the gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002, against Paul Smith.
