Two tiny terrors who at the time of their first fight were easily the two best fighters in the division. Carbajal was the darling of US boxing at the time, and 'Chiquita' was seen as a mini Julio Cesar Chavez.
Their meeting was one of the biggest fights in boxing and possibly the biggest fight ever at the weight.

The first fight was a pier six brawl with Carbajal going down twice but coming back to knock out Gonzalez in the 7th. Brilliant fight.
